A: Yoga mat (if you don’t have one we got you covered), comfortable clothing, water bottle, towel
Q: What do I wear to a hot yoga class?
A: We recommend you come in any clothing that makes you comfortable. Be prepared to sweat, A LOT, so consider something breathable, wicking and light!
Q: I’ve never practiced yoga before, where do you think I should start?
A: We recommend starting in any of these classes; beginner/ intro, fundamentals, slow deep flow, or restorative. Our all-level classes are taught by experienced teachers who will offer modifications or alternative classes for you to try as you get to know your body, practice and breath.
Q: My 30-day intro is about to expire, what are my options moving forward?
A: You have a few options based on the number of times you plan to visit the studio per week. If you plan on rolling out your mat 3 or more times/ week, we recommended a monthly unlimited membership. If you think it will be 2 or less/ week, we have 10 and 20 class passes that you can purchase!
Q: What if I’m late?
A: We want you to unwind and understand that life happens. We invite you into the room up to 5 minutes after class has started. Be considerate and mindful as you enter though please!
Q: What makes the room hot?
A: At Yoga in the Creek,we have the best technology for Hot Yoga- Infrared heating. This type of heat is beneficial for the muscles, arthritis, the body and the breath as it heats solids rather than the air. It’s easy to breath and move in the heat and your body loves it too as it sweats out the toxins in your body (win-win)!
Q: What is the temperature of the hot room?
A: The temperature for the hot classes is usually set to 100F.
